Completely needle-felted from merino wool, this red fox (Vulpes vulpes) is beautiful as a decoration (to add a little whimsy to a desk or mantle) and also suitable as a toy for supervised, pretend play. Wonderful for children who no longer put things in their mouths and play gently (at least over the age of 3). There are small parts which could become loose and pose a choking hazard.

Each fox is one-of-a-kind and will vary slightly from the one pictured, but will be approx. the same size, shape and colors.

The felting process is done using a specially barbed needle to poke the wool hundreds of time until the desired shape is achieved.
