I am hosting a Healthy Child party because I need help. I need help getting the word out about harmful chemicals in our food and household products. But mostly, I need help replacing the bad stuff with healthy alternatives.
A couple of years ago, when I first became aware of all the pesticides, preservatives, and dangerous additives that my children are being exposed to, I became overwhelmed. Where do I start? What do I do? I wanted to do everything and ended up doing nothing at first. I started a blog to spread the information of what to look for on labels and what to avoid. I had little to offer on alternatives.
That’s where Healthy Child has been so crucial. With their “5 Easy Steps”, I had a place to begin. Their motto of “No one can do everything. Everyone can do something” is a reminder to me to breathe and slowly make changes to protect the health of my children.
My friends are always hearing me go on and on about things to avoid. Having a Healthy child party will help me give back to them some practical tips for making the world safer for our kids.
