The University of Washington, Harborview Injury Prevention & Research Center seeks local teens for a pilot study looking at two new devices for safer driving. Teenage drivers between the ages of 16 and 18, and their parents, are invited to consider participating.
Teens in King and Snohomish Counties who have Android-type phones, regular access to a family car and a recent driver’s license may be eligible. Enrolled teens will be paid $180 (in gas or gift cards) for participating over six months. Here are the eligibility requirements:
- Current driver's license
- Smart phone with a data plan and ability to download apps (no iPhones or Windows 7 phones)
- Access to a car at least three times a week
- Living in King or Snohomish County
